Paul Gardner, Director of Logic Fund Management

Mr Gardner is a senior international executive fluent in all facets of finance. In his current position he is the Group Manager of Corporate Development at Vector. From 2004 Mr Gardner held executive positions in a variety of New Zealand based companies including Ernst & Young, Xero, Phitek and Morel & Co.

Prior to 2004 Mr Gardner was the Vice President of International Mergers and Acquisitions with TeliaSonera, the leading Telecommunications Company in Finland and the whole Nordic region.

Mr Gardner has an extensive track record of deal execution, has listed companies on a number of stock exchanges including the NYSE and NASDAQ, established joint ventures and start-up operations and executed both debt (high yield and Investment grade) and equity capital issues including Initial Public Offerings, rights issues and follow-on offerings. He also had responsibility for the Sonera Corporation Venture Capital portfolio, participating in portfolio management as well as capital raisings, asset sales and investments in Finland, Europe and the United States.

Prior to joining Sonera, Mr Gardner worked as an investment banker. His experience includes being CFO of Banque Brussels Lambert’s Finnish asset management business from start up to funds under management of €4bn.
